We went to a birthday party and an art fair last weekend. The birthday party was at Oxen Hill Farm, the art fair was with the Davis Family in Del Ray where we had some more autumnal fun by making a scarecrow. Lucy was so excited about the scarecrow and promptly named him "Bill". We propped him up in a chair in the front yard (where he proceeds to scare the pants off of many passersby, especially in the dark). Lucy hops out of the car each day and into the lap of Bill to tell him about her day and to snuggle up with her hay-filled friend. Harper sat there, although I'm not sure she even realized that the man holding her didn't even have a brain.
