A weekend in Lexington with Gramzie and Pop Pop

"Pop Pop!" We decided that this is one of Lucy's favorite things to say. She seems to add his name to every sentence she says to him, about him or just says his name for fun. She had a great time with "Pop Pop!" while we were in town and was able to play in the backyard with him and Parker, blowing bubbles, riding big wheels, checking on the goldfish, throwing the football, etc. No worries, Gramzie had to work much of the weekend, but she still seemed to squeeze in a lot of time to entertain Lucy. They went through her jewelry box each and every day, played dolls, created an Easter bonnet and craft projects. Lucy loved snuggling up on the couch with the two of them to read books and loved playing with the beanie babies (the video is of her reading to her animal friends and baby dolls), the cell phone that "really worked" and Gramzie's old baby doll, Suzie. Lucy also had a lot of fun going into her own imaginary world at their house and convinced everyone that there was "a rocket missing" at one time and we are pretty sure that she even convinced herself of it as well. She also went through times where certain words or all talking was banned and she delighted in telling "Pop Pop!" to be quiet. She also walked around the entire weekend with a small zippered plastic bag full of "her things" that she had collected throughout the weekend and the bag had to be near her at all times. It was filled with an old penny racer toy car, a ceramic penguin, a quarter, her cell phone, a tube of hot pink lip gloss a few plastic dinosaurs and whatever other tiny object that might catch her eye.
