Lucy has Christmas fever. I'm not sure if it is seeing all the decorations, reading about it at home or what they are talking about at school, but she seems to know a whole lot about a holiday she most likely doesn't remember from last year. She tells me that Santa brings, big presents, little presents, and treats. In that order and they better all be covered on Christmas morning (I don' t foresee that being a probem with all the requests for Christmas ideas that we have gotten). The best part for us? She is totally buying the "Santa is watching you" threat. With curtains closed, she still believes that Santa can see her being naughty and quickly straightens out her act. It is golden for us since she has developed quite a temper as of late.
In the meantime, she is is enjoying her Advent calendar treats, the Christmas lights that are popping up, our Christmas tree and preparing gifts for everyone. Taylor visits on the 15th-19th and Dick and Zanne will be here the week after Christmas. If anyone else wants to join us for any part of the holidays, we would love to share Lucy' excitement with you!
