We put Harper to bed Wed night, turned on Rudolf the Rednosed Reindeer on tv and decorated the tree. Lucy was so excited to check out all the ornaments and loved the lights. She was so ready to decorate the tree that after only one strand of lights (we used 4) she was ready to stop putting lights on and put ornaments on. She has gotten ornaments from family and from St. Nick every year since she was born and loves to hear the stories about why they picked that ornament for her and how old she was when she got the ornament. She goes to the tree every few hours to tell me about which ornament is her current favorite. She also wants to redecorate the tree every so often but I had to stop that since the little hoarder in her was telling her to find random bags and to stick ornaments in them. Of course, glass, hooks and preschoolers don't mix. But a finished Christmas tree is more than she could hope for.
