Pop Pop and Gramzie

Not knowing what "we're going to Kentucky" really meant, Harper went with two agendas- to find out who this "Max" fellow was and to see giraffes at the zoo. Since the weather was beautiful, Gramzie and Pop Pop got the honor of taking her to see the giraffes. They did not disappoint and just today she was telling me all about them and their house. She said the giraffes live in a "really really funny house". Not sure what that means, but she told me that they were very tall, "like a helicopter".
Lucy liked the zoo, as always, although she likes to breeze through the animals, get to the food, move through some more animals and then have a treat on the way home. I think she's a bit jaded from going to the zoo so much, even though she does seem to enjoy going every time, just not necessarily to see each and every animal. The Louisville Zoo is nice for her. We get to see rhinos, giraffes and the white alligator which we don't have here. Her favorite was the Larakeets, even though they scared the heck out of Harper. That's Harper crying in the background of the video while birds land on her head over and over again.
Graham, well, not sure he knew he was at the zoo, but he had a nice time anyways.
And it's always nice to see Pop Pop and Gramzie, and always nice when the zookeepers let them out of their cages. And they don't make anyone cry. The perfect domesticated grandparent!
